Rural issues, health issues and community information. Easy listening, country, classical music - significantly Australian.

My eldest daughter, Belinda was a presenter and she taught me the ropes.

Other Comments: I was the most nervous person around but after working at Yass FM, I have overcome that problem.

Why did you get involved with Community Radio?
I have so much music in my collection, a good way to have it heard and also get involved with the community through our local Radio station YassFM 100.3.
Favourite Music/Performer: I have so many favourites that it would be too hard to single any one out as a favourite.

I was asked to be on the inaugural committee to which I agreed and in my absence, I was elected President.
Favourite Music/Performer: Depends on the music, you can go from Eva Casidy, Neil Diamond, Michael Crawford, Beaux, Ark Trio, Renee Flemming and others.

Why I did you get involved with Community Radio?: Music has always been my most "can't live without" thing! Discovering new artists and sharing my love of music makes me happy, and I hope others too. Favourite Performer: Everything from 50's to the latest bands! I like world, jazz and Indie music too. I borrow a lot of new music from the library, so I don't play the same thing often. I'm quite partial to Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks. Sometimes I prepare special biography shows featuring one artist. I try and checkout the Sunday paper CD reviews if available to borrow. Program: "Come Away With Jennie C", Monday 12 - 2pm. Content: A wide mix of of artists and styles, old and new. Music and information. I don't play much Rap or Country. More pop, jazz, rock, world and Indie. Along with anything else interesting I discover. Sometimes the old standards. I like to discuss the artists along with playing their music.

I heard the advertisement on the station and wanted to use the radio medium to get involved in the community and raise awareness of human rights issues around the world.

Why did you get involved with Community Radio?: Vicki Williams talked me ito it in 2001. I then found I enjoyed helping.

Other Comments: We get to play our own music and we are a family, come and join a community radio and help out.
